GriffRex personnel have also been engaged by large and small corporations to design, architect, install, and deployed Cognos in various Windows, ADS, and AS/400 environment, developing and deploying models and reports that provided functions to effectively mine historical data. Designed and implemented Scorecards that were incorporated in Dashboards, implementing Cognos functionality for added ease of use to keep CxO level management informed.

Complete Project Management

GriffRex personnel led a Fortune 250 Manufacturer of Industrial Automation Controls and Systems in a successful multi million dollar architectural design and implementation and launch of a BI tools (Cognos, Focus, MS) DW program (DB2 on Z series and an Oracle farm in Unix), utilizing Ralph Kimball methodology, to 3500 enterprise users in North and South America, Europe & Asia. The initial program realized over $10M ROI in the first six months.

GriffRex personnel managed the cross-functional, cross-business, international implementation teams. Were the Evangelists to the Business Community and led the corporate governance standardization team in the decision process leading to the choice of a BI Analytics tool, DW (ETL) and CPM across 8 IT divisions. (RFP, Pilot, Implementation and Analysis)

GriffRex personnel were brought into lead Healthcare projects at a number of Payers and Care Providers. These projects have required GriffRex personnel to manage analytic projects, one such aimed at Clinical Outcomes and Value in the development of a fully customized, automated, standardized report for 400 clients.

GriffRex personnel have been engaged to design and architect Cognos in various technical environments utilizing DB2, MSSQL, Windows Servers, ADS, Oracle, Unix, and AIX. They have also architected and designed the ETL process and the various data models for execution in Data Manager, Informatca, and Oracle. During one engagement these models were the basis of a three hospital consolidation project that was undertaken to improve service to patients through effective management of hospital resources and the standardization of effective procedures.

During these projects GriffRex personnel were entrusted with the direct management of the client's IT and business resources as well as contracting with off-shore resources when necessary.
